We all know that when it comes to gift giving that it’s the thought that counts, right? Putting a little extra effort and detail into your gift wrapping really shows how much you care as well as makes for a beautiful presentation. I love wrapping presents as much as I love giving (and receiving!) them. Today, I have rounded up a few really unique gift wrapping ideas that are sure to wow your recipient before they even see what’s inside!
This first group of projects really boasts jolly holiday cheer. These gifts are whimsical and wild.
Top your boxes with fun fur for tangible fun. The kids will love this one!
Use plain kraft boxes and add your own pizzazz! Wrap them in washi tape or yarn or just doodle on them with a Sharpie®!
Rainbow Loom® lovers, this one is for you! Loom a Santa gift tag to top your packages.
Layer washi tape on a packing tube and add an ornament for a whimsical touch. This is a great way to wrap odd shaped gifts!
Use your ribbon stash to make unique gift toppers. Wrap thin ribbon around chenille stems to make this cute candy cane adornment.
Wine makes a great hostess gift, but be sure to dress your bottle up a little. Use a tag, scrapbook paper and ribbon to craft this ribbon-wrapped tree tag.
This ribbon wreath doubles as an ornament for the tree after the gift has been opened. Two gifts in one!
Another sweet way to incorporate holiday ribbons into your packaging is by creating tiny buntings for the top.
If you’re more the traditional type, you can still jazz up your gift wrapping just by adding a little extra. Use floral picks on top of your present or add a floral stem to a gift bag.
This cardinal-topped gift box would be the first one I’d choose to unwrap!
Wrap scrapbook paper around an old packing tube and add ribbon for a quick and fun presentation.
