Random Acts of Kindness Day is February 17th! It’s the unofficial holiday increasingly celebrated around the nation encouraging people to commit acts of kindness out of the goodness of their hearts. Leading up to this day, we are asking YOU to craft a heart and pass it on to someone else. Give them to friends, family, co-workers, leave them on the bus or train, surprise your barista … you get the idea! Your crafted heart can take any form. We’ve even created a free printable tag to include on your crafted heart! Here are a couple of ideas to inspire you:
This Glitter Heart Card is easy to make and gives you lots of room to write kind words inside.
If you’re feeling artsy, make this Chevron Wrapped Canvas with a Felt Heart. It comes together in no time at all and would be perfect for a co-worker or your child’s teacher.
I think it would be fun to get the kiddos involved and craft these Heart Wands. It’s never to early to teach them good deeds!
In honor of Random Acts of Kindness Day, we are hosting an in-store event on February 12th, where you can come make a tissue-paper heart to get your started!
Don’t forget to share your heart project on Instagram. We’ll re-gram our favorites!
I can’t wait to see all of your sweet hearts!
