Michaels Makers One Million Kindness Rocks Challenge

6 Months ago by

Here at Michaels we are all about spreading creativity and kindness! That’s why we’ve partnered with the Kindness Rocks Project to create the One Million Kindness Rocks Challenge.

The idea is to inspire others through randomly placed rocks featuring messages of kindness. And to recruit others to join in the pursuit of random acts of kindness by using #MAKEKindnessRocks. The goal is to have one million rocks made that will help spread joy and encouragement across the globe!

Our Michaels Makers are helping spread kindness, one rock at a time. See how they are inspiring others with their creativity:

We have a local community project, Fayette Rocks Kindness Project, that is a part of The Kindness Rocks Project. All of the sealant, paint and paint pens for our events come from our local Michael stores in Fayetteville and Peachtree City, GA. I would love to partner with Michael’s to host some “Kindness Rocks” Painting Events for the community. Who would I contact to try to schedule this?

I recently made some painted rocks for my rock painting blog, rockpaintingguide.com for a Thanksgiving craft project. I used the idea of the Kindness Rock Project for inspiration to make Gratitude Conversation Painted Rocks. Simply put a question on painted rocks and then your family will have a real meaning dinner conversation…device-free! For November, I added “What are you grateful for” questions and my family loves it.
