Now that we’ve got all of the kiddos into the groove of the new school year, isn’t it time you learned something new? My favorite part about being a “maker” is continuously adding new skills and techniques to my crafting arsenal. I like to stretch my limits. Sometimes it turns out that I’m not half bad at decorating cakes or sewing fashion accessories. Other times, that means finding out the hard way that I am not a painter.
At Michaels we believe in growing your craft, learning new techniques and sharing ideas. We have classes for beginning, as well as advanced crafters in cake decorating, paper crafting, jewelry making, knit & crochet and painting. And, we have special craft classes designed for kiddos!
I popped in during a Wilton® Cake Decorating Course 2 class and caught our Wilton Instructor Donna teaching students how to make the famous Wilton® Rose.
That doesn’t look so hard now does it?
This Saturday, September 21st from 11am to 3pm, we’re hosting a Classes Open House at all of our stores. Come meet our certified instructors and learn more about the classes that we offer. Want to know the best part? You can sign up for the Wilton® Cake Decorating Course 1 for just $10! And, if you sign up on Saturday the 21st, you can get 50% off all other classes scheduled through November.
Can’t make it to the Open House? You can register online too.
