Craft room clutter is no joke friends. It’s real, it happens in a matter of moments and to the best of us. When you’re making something beautiful, there’s often a mess left in its wake. But, have no fear! Our Michaels Makers are some of the most organized crafters around and they have genius ideas on how to keep your craft room clutter & chaos free. Check out some of their DIY organization ideas below.
1. Create a Craft Cart
Craft carts seem to be all the rage, especially if you’re working in small spaces. These Makers took our mobile carts and created mini work stations!

2. Convert a Closet
Roeshel at DIY Showoff converted a lackluster closet by adding shelves and color coordinated storage pieces. Talk about a space saver!
3. Organize the Rainbow
I’m pretty sure any crafter can agree that seeing colors separated and organized just makes their heart flutter. A Pumpkin and a Princess knows what’s up. Recollections™ Craft Storage is modular so you can stack and build your own storage space, or use them as stand alone units.
4. Wrangle Bits & Baubles
We all have those loose odds and ends that need a home. Lindi from Love The Day uses our cute colorful jars to hold washi tape, rhinestones, pom poms and more. She even has a fun free printable available for download!
5. Box It Up
When all else fails, contain clutter in beautiful little boxes like Lucy at Craftberry Bush. There’s not shortage of these to choose from at Michaels!
